Dawah Projects

Since most of the Islamic books and other audio- visual news files about topics that are of common interest of Muslims are produced or published mostly in either Arabic or English language, the majority Malawian Muslims cannot  read and understand them. For Muslims in Malawi to derive the maximum benefit from Islamic books and video documentaries, there is a need to get some of these books and films translated into local languages (Chiyao and Chichewa). As such, ABM Productions has translated the following movies to Chichewa:
Tsunami
On December 26, 2004, the strongest earthquake felt on Earth in more than 40 years — a magnitude 9.3 tremor off the coast of Indonesia's Sumatra island — spawned unprecedented tsunami waves that leveled cities and villages across the region. Almost 230,000 people in 11 countries perished, with Indonesia the hardest hit, and millions were displaced.
A number questions however remain unanswered:
  • Why did the Tsunami strike on 26 December which is a Christmas Box?
  • Why did it affect the coastal areas where most people visit during this period?
  • What is the the religious explanation of this event?
This movie give answers to thease questions from an Islamic pesrpective.
