PRESS RELEASE REGARDING CIVIL UNREST IN THE MUSLIM WORLD...
February 2, 2011"O you who believe! Answer Allah (by obeying Him) and (His) Messenger when he (SAW) calls you to that which will give you life, and know that Allah comes in between a person and his heart (i.e. He prevents an evil person to decide anything). And verily to Him you shall (all) be gathered.(8:24)
It seems that the world is finally waking up. Across the Muslim world, it is apparent that people have had enough of their current regimes i.e. puppets of the west, and a change is necessary. But the question remains: exactly what kind of change are they seeking? Are they seeking another leader? Are they seeking another system of government? Or are they looking beyond the empty slogans of democracy and freedom?
Sparked by the self-immolation of a single poverty-stricken man, Tunisia has galvanized into protest. Similar suicidal actions followed thereafter, alarming the world at large. We remind everyone that suicide is strictly prohibited in Islam, so we can only imagine the sheer desperation of these individuals who committed these acts. We should also remember, however, the regimes in the Muslim world, particularly in Tunisia and Egypt, have created conditions such that Muslims are driven to this point of desperation. After bleeding his people dry, Ben Ali of Tunisia fled to Saudi Arabia, who showed their true colors by accepting a literal leech with the oppression of millions of Tunisian Muslims on his neck. Now that the Muslims of Tunisia have ousted their dictator, will they now implement another one in his stead? Or will they wake up to the reality of man-made law and realize that Allah SWT has given them an opportunity to implement the Shariah which will fulfill the purpose of life?
The Muslim Brotherhood has a rich history in the politics of Egypt. However, their original goals for the establishment of Khilafah in the country have met fierce resistance from puppets in the region, as well as their puppet-masters abroad. Though their message has long been diluted due to foreign (and domestic pressure) to conform to Western political systems, there is still hope and they have the opportunity now to follow in the footsteps of Syed Qutb (shaheed) and Hassan al Banna(Shaheed), warriors of the Deen. Once again, they can rise up for the truth and lead Egypt out of 50 years of misery and open oppression.
The Egyptian Muslims have coalesced and spoken, and certainly Hosni “Munafiq” Mubarak has no chance of succeeding in a country overwhelmingly opposed to him. However,it is clear that the foreign powers that installed him have something different to say.
Asked if he would characterize Mubarak as a dictator Biden responded: “Mubarak has been an ally of ours in a number of things. And he’s been very responsible on, relative to geopolitical interest in the region, the Middle East peace efforts; the actions Egypt has taken relative to normalizing relationship with – with Israel. … I would not refer to him as adictator.” 1
"O you who believe! Take not as (your) Bitânah (advisors, consultants, protectors, helpers, friends, etc.) those outside your religion (pagans, Jews, Christians, and hypocrites) since they will not fail to do their best to corrupt you. They desire to harm you severely. Hatred has already appeared from their mouths, but what their breasts conceal is far worse. Indeed We have made plain to you the Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses) if you understand."(Quran3:118)
So, are we to understand that those who do the bidding of the United States are not dictators but those that do not are dictators, terrorists, and rogue regimes? How profound! How can the Egyptians trust those who care only for their own interests and the interests of the pirate Israeli state?
The Egyptians and Tunisians have an opportunity now to do away with the taghoot that have persecuted them for half a century. Muslim Brotherhood and An-Nahdah can return to it’s roots as a force calling to Khilafah and liberate themselves from the iron grip of the West. They can become the beacon of hope and lead the Ummah, who has sifted for years without leadership and is crying for the golden rule of Khilafah.
Finally, the Ummah is awakening to the siege that has incarcerated them for nearly a century. Perhaps it is time that the Western powers realize that the families they have installed in power (on a very generous payroll) in Egypt, in Morocco,in Jordan, in Yemen, in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Palestine, in Saudi Arabia, in Tunisia, and the rest of the Middle East have no hope. We want to remind the Muslim Ummah that when the foreign occupation is removed, we should look to implement Islam i.e. Khilafah as our way of life. Though the foreign occupiers in many countries have left, their social, economic, judicial, educational, and political systems have remained, essentially ensuring our enslavement to them even in their absence, aided by puppets who showed outwardly that they were against the occupations. As it turns out, they are fraudulent capitalists who sold their own people. Perfect examples are Mubarak, King Hussein, King Abdullah (slave of Shaitaan), Mahmud Abass, Karzai, Zardari and the list goes on.
So, will we turn our backs on our own history, our own Deen, and continue to accept these man-made systems and Western-engineered governments? Will we sell ourselves fora jar of honey and a crust of bread? Or is the world finally ready to accept the reality, that Khilafah on the Path of the Prophet Muhammad Rasullah sallAllahu allaihi wassaalm is the way of the future; not only for the Middle East, but for the rest of humanity?
We Islamic Thinker Society call upon the Muslims of Egypt and Tunisia and the rest of the Muslim Ummah to remind them that Khilafah is the only alternative to corruption and tyranny in the Muslim world. It is only the Khilafah that can take power away from the corrupt puppet regimes and tyrant rulers, implement a real rule of law, produce economic prosperity for the many (and not just the few) and ensure political decisions on the future of the Muslim world such as in places like Cairo, Istanbul and Islamabad, not London or Washington. It is time we work to establish the Khilafah and blow away the suffocation of the past nine decades and fulfill our promise with Allah azza wajl and His Messenger (saw) as Muslims.
Say (O Muhammad SAW):"Verily, my Salat (prayer), my sacrifice, my living, and my dying are forAllah, the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists).(6:162)
